Scott Saylers, Casting Director for NBC's Shark Tank, held a private, invitation-only casting in Atlanta, Georgia in 2015.
I was contacted and invited by a local angel investor to pitch for the show and subsequently was picked to go on to the next round in preparation for Season 8.
Ultimately, I decided to discontinue the process as I felt my company was too early-stage to risk the distraction of our focus for the show.
It was a great experience to be selected and come so close to being on the "big screen" to share what I had built just from a simple idea.
I believe my startup journey, with all it's ups and downs, is proof to everyone that what you conceive and believe, you can achieve.
